I made some calls this week, first to my mom for her birthday and then to my dad for his birthday.
Calls aren’t terribly expensive, about 10p/minute but it can eat up my minutes quickly, especially if it’s home. 
But I've been out of touch on the lame excuse of my thesis.

About a month ago, Marc and I were having one of our rare actual conversations. I say actual because through kik, it gets difficult and tedious to explain your life and have lengthy conversations, as it's basically text. And he sucks at Skype dates, and I suck at Skype when I don't have a date.

My friends and I that have instant messengers keep in touch that way. Our little inside joke is from time to time to send each other ridiculous pictures of ourselves asides from pictures of places, friends, or nice ones blowing kisses. Haha. It's a fun and challenging game.
